Letter from the President:

I would like to thank you for your interest in Cal Poly FinTech (CPF)!

Cal Poly FinTech came to be after the other founders and I recognized the need for a financial technology and analytics club on Cal Poly’s campus. Upon consulting with several fortune 500 companies and presidents of similar clubs from the top universities in the world, we created CPF.

In 2019, CPF was founded as the first student-led financial technology and analytics initiative at Cal Poly and is officially recognized by the Orfalea College of Business as a college-affiliated club. We aim to promote passion and understanding for the technology and data analytics that are disrupting businesses across the globe by connecting top performing, motivated students with institutions that share a similar mindset.

There are many different opportunities available for students and companies interested in financial technology and analytics to get involved at CPF. Weekly meetings, career fairs, workshops, case competitions, and guest presentations are just a few examples. Whether you’re a member or a sponsor, Cal Poly FinTech has something to offer you.

We are looking forward to this coming year as we focus to continuously improve our events and workshops. Whether you attend events as a general member, senior member, or take a leadership role on the board, we encourage you to utilize our vast array of resources and networking opportunities. As the first financial technology and analytics student organization on campus, CPF is able to reach across many emerging industries and provide a tremendous amount of resources to the undergraduate population here at Cal Poly.

It is an honor for me to serve as president of this organization and represent the some of the brightest minds at Cal Poly. I highly encourage you to reach out to myself or any of our board members if you ever need assistance, and I hope to see you at one of our next events!
